How to find us
The George is situated in the centre on the village of Castleton very close to the market place in the village.
From Sheffield: Take the A625 to Hathersage, then the A6187 to Castleton. As you go through the village you will go round a sharp double bend and about 50 yrds further down take the left turning called “Castle Street”, the George is about 100 yards up the road on the right.
From Manchester: Take the A6 South to Chapel-en-le-Frith, then the A625 to Castleton. Before you get to Castleton you will drive down a steep gorge (Winnatts Pass). At the bottom, turn right at the T-junction. As you enter the village you will go over a mini roundabout and then at the top of the hill take a right turning called “Castle Street”, the George is about 100 yards up the road on the right.
